Longhouse at Kayanase

Kayanase is a First Nations native plant, seed and Ecotourism business working to improve ecosystems through Ecological Restoration and education. We work closely with our clients to create ecologically sustainable landscapes to benefit Mother Earth using science-based approaches and Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK). Ecotourism and cultural tourism are growing within the Six Nations of the Grand River Community and Kayanase is working hard to bring culturally relevant and accurate depictions.

NEW for 2017 Kayanase is now featuring Kahionha:kta (by the river) an ongoing cultural and ecotourism development. Come to learn the Haudenosaunee history and culture by visiting our 17th Century full-sized replica Longhouse Ganosa'o:weh (Real/Original House). Other developments include a 120ft Turtle - Healing Garden.
