Downtown Paris, deservedly nicknamed the "Prettiest Little Town in Ontario," will once again welcome thousands as the Paris Lions Club hosts the annual Maple Syrup Festival on April 13, 2019 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This year, the event will be located on Grand River Street North between William and Mechanic Street. There will be no vehicle traffic during this closure to make room for a wonderful variety of local businesses to showcase and sell their many maple candy syrup products, crafts, merchandise, entertainment and food. In addition to the vendors, Paris has a picturesque downtown with fantastic shopping and dining experiences just steps from the Grand River. There will be lots of family friendly activities and entertainment, as well as food service including pancakes with maple syrup, sausage, and hot or cold beverages.
There will be lots of parking available off Broadway Street, along Mechanic, Broadway and West River Streets in designated areas. Make sure to leave yourselves plenty of time to watch the woodcarving and/or maple candy making demonstrations
